Welcome to Restorations Ministries, Inc. website!
Restorations Ministries, Inc., or "RMI", is a 501(c)(3) public charity managing educational and vocational training institutes, as well as providing transitional housing to assist returning citizens in making a successful reentry into their communities. We will provide temporary housing for the duration of the client's training and preparation for reentry.
RMI uses a comprehensive approach to reduce offender relapse and recidivism using evidence-based practices. In an effort to improve public safety, enhance the quality of life within the community, and meet the needs of the reentrant, RMI developed a unique program application that combines therapeutic discipline with vocational aptitude to enhance the client's personal development. This highly advanced approach is called Cognitive and Affect© programming.
With Cognitive and Affect© programming, the client's professional development and socio-emotional development are addressed simultaneously. RMI is able to facilitate the program processes at a reduction of 44% of the cost of incarceration. Therefore, not only does it improves public safety but significant savings is achieved, as well!
Unlike many transitional programs that focus primarily on housing for their clients, RMI's core emphasis is education to increase marketable skills and vocational training that is job-specific for employment acquisition. It is our hope that clients discover their God-given purpose and begin to advance toward its fulfillment. The term of the program is 12-18 months.
